Suksham is a Sanskrit word for small or as we like to say boutique. Suksham Retreat is the little sister of the well-known and established Azadi Retreat in Ubud, Bali. Suksham is a perfect way to describe the vibe of our boutique yoga retreat center. While we’re small in size we’re big on experience when you stay with us for your yoga teacher training.

We’ve chosen a hand-crafted modern look for the interiors of Suksham Retreat. All rooms are independent and designed with their own unique view so you can experience the stunning beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings. Each room has a feature wall of unique hand-made Bali tiles. Teak wood furniture, fine cotton sheets, and authentic Balinese touches are combined with European styling. Rooms come equipped with AC and fans with locally produced organic bath products, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. Hairdryers are provided in each room. Enjoy daily housekeeping and a nightly turndown service already leaving your room ready for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Suksham Retreat’s lounge is on the second level offering amazing views over the rice fields. It is a lovely spot to enjoy complimentary herbal teas and coffee or order fresh juices and coconuts. It is also here where you will enjoy your meals, internet access, and hanging out. The perfect place to relax during your downtime when you’re not relaxing by the pool.
